Radix Quest
Private. Precise. Purposeful.
Radix Quest is a browser-based calculator It combines mathematical expression evaluation, number-base conversion, fixed-width integer operations, bitwise calculations, and physical unit conversions in one interface. Designed for everyone, Radix Quest provides tools for working with numbers without requiring a server-side calculation service.

Application Sections
Radix Quest contains three main sections.
Calculator
Evaluate mathematical expressions, switch between floating-point and integer modes, and inspect results in different number bases.
Converter
Convert values between supported measurement units.
Help
Review syntax tips, supported functions, number prefixes, and integer-mode behavior.
Calculator Modes
Floating-Point
The default mode uses JavaScript Number arithmetic.
It supports:
- Arithmetic
- Exponentiation
- Trigonometric functions
- Logarithms
- Square roots
- Mathematical constants
- Min/max and rounding functions
Integer / Bitwise
Integer mode uses JavaScript BigInt with configurable fixed-width masking.
It supports:
- Integer arithmetic
- Binary and hexadecimal calculations
- Bitwise operators
- Signed and unsigned interpretations
- Bit shifts
- Fixed-width overflow behavior
Supported Number Bases
| Base | Name | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Binary | 0b1010 |
| 8 | Octal | 0o12 |
| 10 | Decimal | 10 |
| 16 | Hexadecimal | 0xA |
The calculator supports automatic recognition of prefixed integer literals.
Unit Conversion Categories
Radix Quest includes:
- Length
- Mass
- Time
- Temperature
- Area
- Volume
- Speed
- Pressure
- Energy
- Power
- Angle
- Frequency
- Force
- Torque
- Data
The Data category distinguishes decimal units such as MB from binary units such as MiB.
Privacy and Local Processing
Radix Quest's calculation and conversion functions run in browser JavaScript.
The supplied calculator source does not send entered expressions or conversion values to a calculation server.
The interface states:
Built for a more private web. No tracking, no external requests.
The supplied HTML also includes an advertisement script and a QVLX website link. The privacy statement should therefore be understood in the context of the application implementation and its deployed resources, rather than as an independently audited guarantee about all browser network activity.
