How OK Ads Works

OK Ads uses a visual configuration interface to generate an embeddable advertisement.

The workflow is straightforward:

Enter your brand information.
Set the advertisement's destination URL.
Customize its design.
Choose dimensions and positioning.
Preview the result.
Copy the generated code.
Embed it in your website.

The generator updates the advertisement code as configuration fields change.

Advertisement Content

Customize the visible elements of an advertisement.

Visual Customization

OK Ads supports a range of design controls.

These include:

Image Support

You can supply images using:

An image URL
A locally uploaded image

Supported image roles include:

Logo: Display a logo or promotional image within the advertisement.

Background: Use an image behind the advertisement's content.

Uploaded images are converted into data URLs and included in the generated output.

This can make the generated code considerably larger.

Advertisement Layouts

Four layouts are available.

Positioning

Position an advertisement using horizontal and vertical offsets.

OK Ads supports several display options:

Exporting

The generated advertisement includes its own styling and interaction logic.

Shadow DOM Isolation

OK Ads creates advertisements inside a closed Shadow DOM.

This provides style isolation between advertisement content and much of the surrounding webpage.

It helps reduce accidental interference from a website's existing CSS.

Shadow DOM is not a security sandbox, however, and generated scripts still run in the embedding page's JavaScript environment.

Privacy Commitment

The OK Ads generator displays the statement:

This site never saves or sells your data.

The supplied generator performs its ad design and code generation through browser JavaScript.

Generated advertisements can load externally hosted images and open advertiser destinations when visitors interact with them.

Those interactions are distinct from the generator selling user data.
